When someone tells me they are stressed, I often ask what they are doing to manage it. You can imagine what I hear—crickets. People are stressed but won’t use any of the strategies and techniques they know that would help. Mostly, I hear, “I know I should…but I don’t.” The overall message is that they are too stressed to manage their stress. Really?
There are some proven actions you can take to get in control. We have written about them in previous Messages. By applying the ideas from these one-minute reads, you will get yourself in control and reduce your stress.
