However, we have found that too many firm leaders and staff forget or underestimate their worth, so we drive conversations and learning experiences for professionals to gain the skills and adopt behaviors that reflect their true value. Our reward is to see and hear about how our clients are progressing their careers. That is what we live for.
As a part of our commitment to the profession, this Monday Message is meant to encourage, challenge and support professionals who aspire to live out a full and rewarding career instead of just having a job. I’ve said so many times there are easier ways to make a living. But for those who have a passion for what they do and for whom they do it, there is little that is more rewarding. Hopefully, these Messages inspire readers to be more effective.
For the next several weeks, we will be assessing our offerings to determine if they are achieving the purpose of PartnersCoach—to equip professionals with the skills they need for the situations they encounter. During this time, we will pause the weekly Monday Message and dedicate ourselves to assessing what we do.
When we return in several weeks, we will have a refined objective for this Monday Message. In the meantime, you can check out past Messages located on our website. You may also find it useful to search for a topic to find Messages that relate. Having written about 50 or so Messages every year since 2009, you will likely find something related to performance and professionalism that you are seeking.
If you are so inclined, we would welcome your feedback about this weekly effort. How useful is it? How consistently do you read it? What would you like to hear more or less of? Anything you offer will be a gift to us and help us to determine if it should continue. Nothing lengthy, unless you feel so moved. Even a rating of 1-10 (low to high) on the degree you would miss the Message would be helpful. Thank you in advance for anything you can give us.
Finally, remember to enjoy these weeks to renew and refresh your energy and motivation. You deserve it and your clients and colleagues will value you even more.
