One week to go. There will be plenty of reasons to focus only on getting the work done and meeting the deadline, but leadership is happening in the middle of it all.

In the conversation with the staff member who is overwhelmed.
In the decision to pause and coach instead of taking over.
In the clarity you provide when everything feels urgent.
In the encouragement you give when someone is tired.

These moments may not show up on a timesheet or a deadline report.
But they matter.

As you head into this final week, ask yourself: What do I want my team to experience from me this week? Then make that part of your plan. The work will get done, it always does. Let’s make sure we’re building people while we’re getting it done.
