Guy Gage, MA, LPC, is the owner of PartnersCoach, a coaching and consulting firm to CPA firms. Holding a license in counseling with an emphasis on human performance improvement, he has consulted with and coached CPAs for over 25 years, guiding them to increase their effectiveness and career satisfaction.
Guy’s early experience as a mental health clinician serves him well to equip firm leaders to address the people issues in their firm. His fresh perspectives shape how leaders grow their firms and develop their people to lead.
Along the way, Guy spent almost 8 years in a 4-office, accounting firm, which gives him a realistic understanding of what it’s like inside a CPA firm. He quotes, “Before I joined the firm, I had all kinds of easy solutions to firm problems. Now, I appreciate the complexity of the issues firm leaders face. It’s not as easy as I thought.” Using his knowledge of human behavior and motivation, his programs and consulting deal effectively with the hard concerns that leaders have.
Susan Stutzel, CPA, joined the PartnersCoach team in 2019 and has contributed greatly to the firm’s coaching and training programs. She launched her career in a national firm as a young accountant. After a few years, she took advantage of working in a small, family-owned business, and then for a Fortune 500 company.
Being in the private sector made her aware of her love of public accounting and joined a small regional firm, serving clients and growing the firm. Her real love was training and mentoring staff, which led her to obtain an Executive Coaching certificate.
Today, she leads a small firm working with non-profit entities, playing a role in strategic thinking and planning with nonprofit leadership teams. “I have a great situation in that I help clients achieve their strategic goals while training and coaching fellow accountants in firms around the nation. I truly love what I do.”

Guy and PartnersCoach is a credentialed provider of CPE. He has been certified by NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) to provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
PartnersCoach is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
